2019 Season

From Division Two Champion to Order of Merit Winner!

We said at the end of 2018 that Dan Cockerell appeared to be finding some form. Well, we weren't wrong!

Fresh from winning Division Two, Dan carried that momentum straight into 2019, claiming the Order of Merit title and finishing runner-up in Division One. Quite a remarkable two-year run!

Congratulations also to Ciaran Rowe, who claimed the Division One League championship, and Lee Bower, who took the Division Two title.

Promotion and relegation were straightforward this year, with two golfers promoted and two relegated. All four had played enough events to qualify, so there were no playoff complications or qualification uncertainties to unravel.

And so, another successful season drew to a close. Le Tournoi was going from strength to strength, the competition was thriving, and everything seemed to be running swimmingly.

As we headed into 2020, what on earth could possibly happen to bring Le Tournoi to a grinding halt?
