A Double Triumph for Martin Morgan

The 2016 Le Tournoi season belonged to Martin Morgan, who completed an impressive double by claiming both the Order of Merit and Division One League Championship. Martin finished with 30 Order of Merit points and 89 League points from his best five performances, rounding off a highly successful year.

In Division Two, Jarrod Gowland-Smith secured the League Championship with 86 points, earning promotion to the top flight alongside Mark Carr.

The season saw a relatively straightforward reshuffle of the divisions, with two players promoted and two relegated. Nobby Drew and Charlie Church dropped into Division Two, maintaining the balance between the leagues for the following season.

There was, however, some uncertainty surrounding the end-of-season play-offs. Although several players were potentially involved, the surviving records do not conclusively establish whether the play-offs took place or who participated. As a result, only the confirmed promotions and relegations have been recorded.

With Martin Morgan completing a memorable double and Jarrod Gowland-Smith earning the Division Two crown, 2016 was another competitive chapter in Le Tournoi's history.
