2014 Season

2014 – A Changing of the Guard

Another successful year for Le Tournoi, with plenty of competitive golf, familiar rivalries and, as always, a few stories to tell.

Congratulations to Justin Hunt, who claimed the Order of Merit, Martin Morgan, our Division One Champion, and Justin King, who took the Division Two title. Three worthy winners after another hard-fought season.

But 2014 also marked a significant turning point in Le Tournoi's history. One of the society's founding members, who had played a central role in organising events, serving as Treasurer and looking after the finances since the early days, made the decision to leave the UK.

After many years helping to build and shape Le Tournoi, it was time to hand over the reins to a new committee.

With the society firmly established, the new team took responsibility for carrying Le Tournoi forward, ensuring that the friendships, competition and traditions that had made it such a success would continue for years to come.

The end of one chapter, and the beginning of another.
